For Posterity's Sake: TWBB v. NCFOM

I would like it to be known to all of my peers that, when history unfolds itself, "There Will Be Blood" will be regarded as a far greater masterpiece than "No Country for Old Men".

While I can point out many flaws and deus ex machina moments in NCFOM any time you ask, I am hard pressed to find such in TWBB. As many critics are saying, it may be a perfect film.

That P.T. Anderson got passed over at the Academy Awards is a travesty. Were I him, I would boycott all awards ceremonies until they get their heads out of their asses.

"I drink your milkshake. I drink it up!"

So why was NCFOM a bigger hit?
